Cancellation, Rescheduling & Deposits
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to reserve production dates. Work does not begin until the deposit is received. Unless otherwise stated, the remaining balance is due upon final delivery or within 14 days of invoice.

Payment terms
The remainder of payment is due upon completion, NET 15, unless otherwise specified in terms agreed to by both the client and Goodwick Creative Services (Portland Video Production Co. or PORTLANDRONE). Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% annually) on any outstanding balance, or the maximum allowed by law.

Cancellations

Projects canceled 7 days or more before the scheduled shoot are subject to a 25% non-refundable fee, deducted from the deposit.

Projects canceled within 7 days of the shoot will forfeit the full 50% deposit.

Projects canceled within 48 hours of the shoot will incur 100% of the agreed production day rate(s), plus any non-refundable contractor, location, or vendor fees already incurred.

Rescheduling

One reschedule is permitted at no cost if requested more than 7 days in advance, subject to crew availability.

Reschedules requested within 7 days are subject to a 25% rescheduling fee (applied to the total project cost), subject to crew availability.

Reschedules requested within 48 hours of the shoot will be treated as a cancellation under the terms above.
Contractor & vendor fees
Once contractors, crew, locations, rentals, or other vendors are booked on the client’s behalf, those fees are non-refundable and will be billed to the client in the event of cancellation or rescheduling.
Work already performed
All pre-production work already completed (e.g., creative development, shot lists, permitting, scouting) will be billed at the agreed rates if a project is canceled or postponed.
